Why be poor and miserable in Racine - especially now that Winter has come - ya got about 3 months of awesome - then UGH!

Move South, past the Mason-Dixon line and to an income tax free State - where you can be poor and at least happier.

Florida's a little too warm in the Summer - but there's a few stops in between.

You appear to be a prisoner in your own mind, A teaspoon of Apple Cider vinegar a day may help free yourself.

I agree with the diagnosis, but not the treatment. Apple Cider vinegar is not a cure-all. I don't think my Barrett's Esophagus would react kindly to vinegar.

Of course, the whole world is trying to get me, including my mind.

Barrett's esophagus is caused by acid.
Gerd is a common cause of Barrett's esophagus.
Fighting acid with acid can make sense.

My acid reflux got so bad I had to avoid spaghetti and chili.
I was becoming an nexiom addict before i found ACV
ACV cured my acid reflux.

Adding my few cents worth of worthless knowledge:
Apple cider vinegar can help control the spasming of the pyloric sphincter valve, that in itself may reduce the severity of gerd and/or Barrett's esophagus.
I too have had amazing results with apple cider vinegar

If fighting fire with fire works in some instances, then so may fighting acid reflux with acid work.
I expect you already know the definition of insanity, so try something different.

Do I stop the Nexium one day, then drink the apple cider the next? Or ia there a tapering off process?

My name doesn't include Dr. but this is what I found worked for me.
A shot of ACV a day diluted with water and followed immediately with a full glass of water.
The routine I got into was first a mouthful of water, tip the shot into my mouth followed immediately by a glass of water. It is acidic, so be prepared to wash it down right away.
After a week I discontinued the nexiom and never had to go back to it again.
Now I take a shot a week as maintenance, but I don't think I even need to do that because often times I forget for a few weeks to take the shot.
As I said I think you already know the definition of insanity, so try something different.

GOOD LUCK
