"MADISON — A Racine state senator has rejected Democrats' call for a hearing on allegations of inmate abuse at Wisconsin's youth prison.

"State Sen. Van Wanggaard, who chairs the state Senate's judiciary committee, said a hearing could jeopardize the investigation into allegations of abuse at the Copper Lake/Lincoln Hills School in Irma. "Word broke last week that the state Justice Department has been investigating allegations of sexual and physical assaults of youth and evidence tampering since January. The FBI has also joined the probe.

"The judiciary committee's two Democrats — Lena Taylor and Fred Risser — sent a letter to Wanggaard, R-Racine, on Wednesday asking for a hearing. "'Not only is it the Senate

"Judiciary and Public Safety's legislative responsibility to investigate this matter, but it is our moral responsibility as policymakers,' legislators said in the letter."

Welcome to Wisconsin, home of the Prison Planet.

I very much doubt that we'll ever hear the truth about this. By now, everyone has lawyered-up. Heads will roll, but I bet you a buck to a doughnut that no real change will occur. This is like the sperm-stained dress of Monica Lowenski's. Nobody wanted to talk or deal with it.

Why should this be a surprise?

Racine County Republican DA Rich Chiapete dindunuffin either - he's not a criminal, nor is his wife, Jennifer.

Mount Pleasant Police Chief Tim Zarzecki dindunuffin either - although his Wife called the Police and he was arrested and charged, the entire incident was quickly slipped under the rug and went away.

Former Racine Chief of Police and Mount Pleasant Administrator Kurt Whalen dindunuffin either - clearly the Wisconsin Courts which ruled he deprived a Negro of Due Process allowing The City of Racine to steal his property - was mistaken.

Considering that Wanggard is a Racine County Republican and a retired Racine Police Officer - is his decision to claim that Guards in a Juvie facility didndunuffin either come as a surprise?

Clearly, it's the children's fault for baiting the Guards - they had it coming and didndunuffin!
